Creating a Paw-some Kitchen
Ideas for Integrating Pet-Friendly Design
When it comes to designing a home, our furry companions are often considered family members and deserve their own space and amenities. The kitchen is eminently the heart of the home for our family and four-legged friends. In conjunction with National Pet’s Day this month, we share with you some paw-some ideas to integrate pet-friendly features into your kitchen design.
Dedicated Feeding Stations
Allocate a specific area in your kitchen for your pet’s feeding station. Incorporating built-in food and water bowls into your kitchen cabinetry or island not only helps to keep the area tidy and easy to clean, but can maximise space-saving too.

Pull-Out Pet Food Storage
Integrate pull-out drawers or cabinets for storing pet food and treats near feeding stations. This not only keeps their food easily accessible but also maintains organisation and prevents clutter in your kitchen.
Ample Storage for Pet Supplies
Designate a storage area within your kitchen cabinetry for pet supplies such as leashes, toys, grooming tools, medication, waste bags and litter scoops. Incorporating pull-out trays or baskets to keep these items organised and within reach.
